LISD to scrap and replace structure at Bible

The Leander ISD Board of Trustees voted on Thursday, Aug. 7, to dismantle the current structure at A.C. Bible Jr. Memorial Stadium, rather than have it repainted. The new structure is to have 10,000 seats. The decision followed the announcement at the July 17 meeting that lead primer was discovered.

What remains to be decided is how large the voter-approved regional stadium near Vista Ridge High School will be - whether it will have 10,000 seats or fewer. The board has until January to make that decision.
