"The Book" has served Leander, Cedar Park, and Vista Ridge fans well over the years, as it did Odessa High and Permian fans in its previous incarnation as Barrett Stadium out west. It is the largest stadium in district 16-5A, and the second-largest in central Texas, only to AISD's Toney Burger Center. Sadly, there's a capacity issue with the intended replacement. LISD has stated the facility will be replaced with a smaller-capacity stadium. The necessity for this is understood if it's fiscally-driven, but since Cedar Park regularly fills its 6,000 seats on the AC Bible home side (unknown whether LHS or VRHS do so as well), any plans should include retaining at least that home-side capacity, and reducing the visitor's side to something less to accommodate finances. PLEASE do not subtract from the home side capacity.
