Pertussis, otherwise known as whooping cough, continues to pose problems in Williamson County and health officials issued a statement for Central Texans to take heed of in order to prevent acquiring the illness.
Pertussis, otherwise known as whooping cough, continues to pose problems in Williamson County and health officials issued a statement for Central Texans to take heed of in order to prevent acquiring the illness.
In 2008, there were 65 reported cases of the whooping cough in Williamson County, including four children who were hospitalized with the illness.
