Recent rains put only a small dent in the exceptional Central Texas drought. Will this one end with a flood like so many dry spells before?

History suggests it might, and young artists are encouraged to let their imaginations run wild in depicting this top Texas weather hazard.

Located in an area known as Flash Flood Alley, the City of Austin says residents should prepare now for that next flood and they want your help in creating the message.
